We had a sneak peak yesterday afternoon and View Holographics. 3D Holograms are incredible way to display objects, photographs etc, but they have not been used before to capture and display heritage landscapes.
The picture does NOT do it justice, it needs to be seen.
The aim of the CEWN project was to see if holograms could be used to capture large heritage landscapes which has never been done before. The results are fantastic. We’ve managed to combine the aerial skills of Seahawk AP and the expertise of Bangor University with the technological capability of View Holographics to make a pioneering archaeological landscape hologram. The future research possibilities are endless..
